The closure of the University of Education (UEW) is a manifestation of Prophet Nigel Gaisy’s December 31,2018 declarations for happenings in 2019 in the Education Sector.
Prophet Nigel Gaisy, the Founder and leader of the True Word Fire Prophetic Ministries (TWPFM) on December 31,2018 prophesised that a Tertiary Institution shall be closed down in 2019.
According to him ,he wanted to speak in figurative expression,citing his decision not to mention the name of the Tertiary Institution.

He further indicated that there shall be more labour strikes in 2019.
UEW Closure
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) had been closed down following the Central Regional Minister’s visit with some state officials to assess a demonstration on campus that led to the destruction of properties worth thousands of Ghana Cedis.

The students are demanding the return of a number of dismissed lecturers and the immediate dismissal of the Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. Afful-Broni.
The Junior Common Room, the windscreen of the Students Representative Council bus and a notice board have all been damaged.
