UCC Denies Issuing Certificate to NPP Parliamentary Candidate

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Adansi Akrofom Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Alex Blankson is in trouble as he is involved in a case of fake Certificate from the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

According to a letter from the University, their records do not show that the Parliamentary Candidate was issued with the Certificate by the University.

The letter further indicates per their records, the certificate number in question was issued to a past student of the University who completed in 2009.

The University also called for the arrest of Mr Alex Blankson to assist in the investigation on how he acquired the said certificate in question.

But the Parliamentary Candidate is yet to respond to the allegations which is a serious crime per the laws of the Country.

If indeed it turns out that, his certificate is fake, he risked been disqualified from running as a member of Parliament.

A former member of Ghana’s Parliament was prosecuted for holding two dual citizenship contrary to the laws of Ghana.
