According to him, there have been a series of meetings with the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) with regards to solving the upgrading challenges.
He argued that it was very unfortunate teachers who qualified for upgrading and have submitted so many documents could still be denied what was due them.
He indicated the teachers shall hear from them after the outcome of their meetings with the GES and other stakeholders, on their next line of action.
Thomas was very optimistic, that the matters of upgrading, promotions and the general welfare of teachers was very dear to the union leaders.
Teachers at the GES who qualified and submitted their documents for upgrading were being denied and or delayed with their upgradings without any subsequent notice from their employer, the GES.
The teachers said they successfully completed their Bachelor Degree courses and applied for upgrading and promotions to the rank of principal superintendent but have still not head any positive response from the GES.
