The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that some six districts in the Northern region shall observe a holiday, today October 6, 2022, ahead of the 2022 Ghana Teacher Prize Celebration to be hosted in Tamale.
Purpose of Holiday
The GES in a letter dated October 4, 2022, by the Northern Regional Directorate to the 6 districts indicated that the holiday has become necessary to be able to allow teachers from the selected districts to take part in the Ghana Teacher Prize Celebration.
