The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) announces the disbursement of outstanding teacher trainee allowances for the 2023/2024 academic year to over 65,000 students across 46 Public Colleges of Education in Ghana.
The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has successfully completed the disbursement of outstanding teacher trainee allowances for the 2023/2024 academic year, benefiting a total of 65,685 students across 46 Public Colleges of Education in Ghana.
The allowances, which cover a three-month period, have now been fully settled, providing critical financial support to future educators. This payment aligns with the Fund’s mandate to facilitate access to financing support for tertiary education students in Ghana. Additionally, it supports the government’s broader educational goals, including its education sector reset agenda, which aims to strengthen support systems within the education sector and ensure uninterrupted academic progression for Ghana’s future leaders.
The SLTF remains dedicated to ensuring timely, transparent, and efficient delivery of financial support to students. The Fund has implemented robust measures to guarantee the consistency, reliability, and seamless execution of future disbursements in full alignment with established policy directives.
