EducationGhana, July 2, GES: The Ghana Education Service (GES) has refuted claims that the Second Semester reopening date for Public Junior High Schools has been proponed to a later date.
The GES said the reopening state for all public JHSs still remains July 6, 2021, and not July 13, as being rumored and published in sections of the media.

The Rumors
There has been a media reportage in sections of the media indicating a postponement ibn the reopening date from July 6 to 13, 2021.
A June 30, 2021 letter being circulated on social; Media and believed to be coming from the GES has indicated a posp[onement to the said date.
But the GES on July 2, 2021, indicated that such a letter was fake and should be disregarded, emphasizing that the reopening date still remains unchanged.
