According to the letter, the National Issuance Commission (NIC) has begun implementing the Compulsory Issuance Policy on Commercial Buildings, including both completed and those under construction.
GNACOPS indicated, that owners of private commercial buildings including private schools needed to obtain Compulsory Fire Insurance over such properties as per sections 218 and 219 of the Insurance Act 2021, (Act 1061).
