EducationGhana, September 5, Laptop: Teacher Unions at the Pre-tertiary Education have criticised the decision of the Government to give teachers laptops of low quality and further launch them to the world.

The unions described the situation as highly patronising and grossly disrespectful for government to give laptops of low quality to teachers.

The Unions including the Innovative Teachers and the All Teachers Alliance Ghana (ATAG) made this argument in a petition to the Commission on Human Rights and Administratie Justice (CHRAJ) on March 18, 2021.

”It is highly patronising and grossly disrespectful for government to give laptops of low quality to teachers as if teachers are so poor that we cannot afford quality laptops as our personal assets.” They said.
