The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has announced to organize a one-month intensive leadership education course for private school owners, manager of schools, school administrators and any other person in Ghana seeking private school management and leadership skills.
The short professional Pre-tertiary leadership education course according to GNACOPS will commence Thursday 1st April 2021 and end on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Atomic Energy Commission University of Nuclear Energy.
Mr Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah, the National Executive Director of the private schools council, said registration for the course will start Monday, March 15, 2021 and end March 31, 2021.
According to him, applicants are expected to pay a fixed GH₵ 750.00 for the one-month intensive evening training which they will spend 6 hours every week, thus two days a week from 4: 00 pm to 6: 00 pm.
The leadership education course for private school owners comes after the NTC certified service provider for professional Continues development (GNACOPS) realized private sector education needs serious house cleaning and total redefining interventions to curtail the growing challenges facing the sector.
Speaking on behalf of his outfit, Mr Gyetuah said school owners at the end of the private education course will know the betterment of establishing well defined private schools that focus on child development, holistic education promotion and understanding of private education operations.
“The leadership education course is to restore and bring the private sector education to the light for public recognition, free from intimidations and seek support for quality-assured education delivery,” Mr E. Gyetuah stated.

“GNACOPS is doing this because most institutions responsible to educate these owners have rather dwelled on their ignorance to extort a huge sum of money from them in view of helping them to register or meet standards.
They sometimes put them through some oblique way so that these innocent School owners would not find their way out
