Akro SHTS Tops Contest 6 in Eastern Regional NSMQ 2025

Akro Senior High Technical School (Akro SHTS) has emerged victorious in Contest 6 of the NSMQ 2025 Eastern Regional Qualifiers, securing a hard-fought 42 points to beat Nkwatia Presby SHS (40 pts) and St. Rose’s SHS (33 pts). This remarkable win places Akro SHTS in a strong position for the upcoming NSMQ 2025 National Championship.

  • Akro SHTS – 42 pts
  • Nkwatia Presby SHS – 40 pts
  • St. Rose’s SHS – 33 pts
  • Presby SHTS, Larteh – 22 pts
  • Mangoase SHS – 14 pts

This exciting contest was moderated by Dr. Thelma Ohene-Agyei, whose charisma added vibrancy to the high-stakes atmosphere. With only a two-point margin between the top two schools, Contest 6 stood out as one of the day’s closest competitions.


Yilo Krobo SHS Dominates Contest 5

Earlier in the day, Yilo Krobo SHS (YIKROSEC) delivered an impressive performance, winning Contest 5 with 47 points, comfortably ahead of Ofori Panin SHS (41 pts) and Presby SHS, Begoro (31 pts). This win qualified them for the national stage.
