The ranking is based on the qualification for the National Championship of the 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz Competition.

Management of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) has released
the official list of schools participating in the 2022 NSMQ National Championship.
A total of hundred and thirty-five (135) Senior High Schools have been
released for this year’s NSMQ contests.

According to the primetime, the list of qualified schools includes 2021
finalists, Keta Senior High Technical School, Prempeh College and PRESEC
Legon.

The 2022 National Championship is scheduled to take place from 10th
October 2022 to 26th October 2022 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of
Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.

Below is the top 5 Best SHS in the Upper West Region according to their qualification to the National Championship

1. St.Francis Xavier Jnr. Sem – 51pts
2. Nandom SHS – 42pts
3. Lawra SHS – 16pts
4. Queen of Peace SHS – 15pts
5. Kanton Senior High School
