On 24th March 2022, the National School Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA’s) Governing Board engaged with representatives of Transforming Teaching, Education & Learning (T-TEL) in a planning meeting at the Volta Serene Hotel in Ho.
This planning meeting officially ratified previous engagements and/or agreements relating to the revision of NaSIA’s Inspection Evaluation Framework (IEF) and associated documents.

The IEF review process is set to be led by NaSIA with technical and financial support from T-TEL under the Transforming Senior High School Education, Teaching & Learning (T-SHEL) initiative.
The Inspector-General of Schools (IGS), Dr Haggar Hilda Ampadu, apprised Board Members of the earmarked activities and timelines of the collaboration (technical work).
Robin Todd, the Executive Director of T-TEL, emphasized the soon-to-be prioritization of ownership and relevant contextualization of the revised IEF.

Overall, Board Members made inputs to the composition of the Technical Working Group (TWG) and the remits of their task as specified in the Terms of Reference.

Most importantly, they tasked the TWG to ensure that all changes to the IEF align with the ideals of the new Secondary Education Policy, Ghana’s Education Strategic Plan and other important education policies and blueprints.
