Congratulations and a Special Welcome to all our cherished Education Stakeholders, into 2023.

These pieces of training are delivered by GNACOPS.

iii. 1-year Certificate in Education for nonprofessional teachers

I want to use this opportunity to congratulate all the School staff, who have gained admission into any of these programs.

Kindly give the training your best attention to make this government investment, very beneficial and profitable.

We are very grateful to the Government of Ghana and the Ministry of Finance for this massive support given to Private Education.

2. Private School Inclusion in the National Standardized Test(NST).

Through the hard work of the Council and other Stakeholders, Private Schools have been included in the December 2022 National Standarderdised Test (NST)

The NST is an initiative that is answering all the assessment issues the private schools have faced with some external assessment agencies, therefore private schools should embrace this lifelong opportunity for their students.

3. The Outdooring of Child Education Support Policy (CESP)

The Council has collaborated with Westom Insurance Brokers, and Africa Center for Policy Development and Planning (ACPDP), and other Stakeholders, to ensure that CESP provides a comprehensive and multifaceted support system/ solution to the Private Education sector, at very affordable premiums.

We encourage all schools to sign-up for the Child Education Support Policy (CESP), to protect your investment and the lives of your stakeholders, and improve the quality of education delivery in your schools.

4. Transitioning Into September – August Academic Calendar

Efforts have been made to return to starting the Academic Year in September, as it was before the Covid lockdown and its effects.

As a result, we will do 2 Semesters from January to September, for the 2023 Academic Year, and begin the 2024 Academic Year in October 2023, to complete the transition process.

All Private Schools should take note and make the necessary adjustments
