The meeting follows last year’s decision by the National Teaching Council (NTC) to stop all unlicensed private school teachers from teaching.

Executive Secretary of NTC, Addai Poku in an interview monitored said his outfit is collaborating with Heads of private schools to remove all unqualified private school teachers from their payroll.

“So it will soon be impossible for private schools to employ teachers who have not written the compulsory licensure exams”, Christian Poku stated.

According to the private schools’ council, the stakeholders meeting will take place at Kwabenya Community Secondary School, at 9:00 am on April 22.
