MASLOC has kicked off a 3-day orientation for its newly appointed Regional and sector managers in Accra to boost leadership capacity and operational efficiency.

The Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC) has officially launched a three-day orientation workshop for its newly appointed regional and sector managers. The workshop aims to build leadership capacity and enhance operational effectiveness within the institution.

The program, which commenced on April 14, 2025, is being held at the Platinum Bay Hotel in Accra and is expected to conclude on April 16, 2025. This initiative underscores MASLOC’s renewed focus on institutional strengthening and service delivery improvement across all regions of Ghana.

Madam Abigail Yaa Mensah, CEO of MASLOC, delivered the opening remarks, warmly congratulating the new managers on their appointments. She emphasized the importance of the workshop as the first capacity-building seminar under the new leadership structure and encouraged participants to fully engage.

“This orientation is not just a formality—it’s a key part of our strategy to build a responsive, efficient, and transparent MASLOC,” she stated. “I urge all of you to take advantage of this platform to sharpen your skills and understand the institutional vision you are now a part of.”

The workshop covers critical areas including MASLOC’s vision, mission, and core values, as well as its organisational structure, operational policies, and strategic objectives. Participants are also expected to delve into effective loan administration, risk management, customer engagement, and monitoring and evaluation practices.

The orientation program serves as an essential step in ensuring that newly appointed leaders are well-equipped to carry out their roles and drive inclusive financial empowerment across Ghana, particularly for women, youth, and small business owners.

As MASLOC continues to play a pivotal role in poverty reduction and economic inclusion, this workshop signals the agency’s commitment to professionalism, accountability, and impact-driven leadership.
