Mamprobi Ebenezer 4 JHS, Sempe receives stationery worth GH¢13,000 from QLZH Foundation

EducationGhana, May 9, QLZH:  The Mamprobi Ebenezer 4 JHS, Sempe in the Greater Accra Region has benefited from stationery worth GH¢13,000 from QLZH Foundation.

The donation, which took place on May 7, 2021, at the Mamprobi Ebenezer 4 JHS, Sempe premises saw stationery including books for JHS 1,2 and 3 students.

 

Stationery

The books include; Mathematics, Integrated Science, English Language, Social Studies, I.C.T, Pre-Technical Skills, French and Religious and Moral  Education subject textbooks of 30 pieces each.

Cost

The 400 textbooks worth GH¢ 13,250 is meant to support the school to be able to produce productive students for society.

4th Donation

Accrding to the company, this donation was the 4th in Ghana since 2017 and are hoping to do more to support education in Ghana in the future.

Media Briefing

Briefing the media, the coordinator for QLZH Ghana, Daniel Apaloo indicated, that during the company’s first donation in 2017, they were enthused bythe reception they received from the beneficial schools and the Ghanain Community.

”The last time we visited Ghana, back in July 2017, we were all very touched and moved byn the smiles and eagerness to learn of the children and teachers we met. Since then, we founded the QLZH Foundation and we promised ourselves that we will be back in Ghana with more support for the local education system.” He said.

He further indicated, that the donation was inline with the company’s third pillar which is its Purpose.

He added, that Education brings knowledge and knowledge is something that nobody can ever take away from the students.

He urged the students to work hard and get to their desired aspirations to be able to  look after their families and friends.

 

“From the little island of Malta, we would like to give this donation in line with our companies third pillar, purpose. Education brings knowledge and knowledge is something that nobody can ever take away from you.” Work hard, study, look after your friends and family. Always do the right thing even if you know you can get away with it. Dream big. Aim high, above all believe in yourself. Our company Moto is Dream, believe achieve! You can be whatever you want to be. Respect all living things and look after your Environment.” He said.

Appreciation

The Headmistress of the school, Edith Tamakloe expressed profound appreciation to the QLZH foundation for the books. She was overly grateful and indicated it will go a long way to help in imparting knowledge to the junior high school students most of whom don’t have textbooks for academic work.
