JUST IN: Unposted Newly Trained Teachers to submit documents for Posting

The leadership of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) has instructed newly trained teachers who have not been posted into the various Basic Schools in the Country to submit their documents for a follow-up.

The leadership in a publication made by the official weekly journal of the Association said the categories of such unposted teachers should be from 2016 to 2018.

All affected newly trained teachers are to forwarding the Following documents to this Whatsapp number: 0544871278.

•Index Number
•A snapshot of your Licensure Certificate

GES Earlier Response

Earlier, the Ghana Education Service (GES) directed all Newly trained teachers who completed College in 2018 but have not been posted to submit Their details to their respective regional Education offices.

The Ghana Education Service said such victims must have completed their National Service.

The teachers must have also passed the Teacher Licensing Exams.

Meanwhile, the GES emphasized that Only the list submitted by the Regional Offices will be worked on.

2017 Unposted Teachers

Some teachers who graduated from College of Education in 2017 and have not been posted by the Ghana Education Service has threatened to Storm the headquarters of the Education Service today, Monday, November 25, 2019.

The teachers said they were not posted due to some irregularities in 2017.

According to them, they have corrected those irregularities, wrote and passed the licensure exams.

Majority of them are believed to have ended their National Service with few almost done with theirs this year.

The teachers said they shall meet with the management of the GES to ensure those of them who met the requirements are being posted by close of day.
