In a press release signed by the University Registrar, new dates for the Congregation will be announced as soon as the Governing Council of the School is reconstituted.

The tenure for the Governing Council of the University, which was formed by the Minister of State in-charge of Tertiary Education, Professor Kwasi Yankah on behalf of government, expired on Wednesday July 17, 2019.

Prior to the expiration of the Governing Council, media reports suggested that a 2019 graduation ceremony for students of the University risk not being delayed.

However, speaking to UniversNews on the matter, the President of the school’s Students Representative Council, Emmanuel Oduro, allayed fears and called for calm among students.

With confidence, he told UniversNews that the graduation ceremony for the 2019 graduating class will come off on the scheduled July 22 date.
