EducationGhana, April 14, 2021: A level 100 Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) Student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has been killed by a speeding vehicle, the University has said.

The University in a statement issued on April 13, 2021 and signed by its Director of Public Affairs, Major Kofi Bahh Bentum (rtd) said the incident happened at the Ayensudo near the UCC Satellite campus at the Nduom School of Business.

According to reports, Priscilla Owusu, aged 19, was in the company of her friends to buy some food items a Sprinmter car which was overtaking another car knocked her.

The incident is reported to have happened on Saturday, April 10, 2021 and she died on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at about 11:30am.

 

The University managem,ent haas said that the famuily has been imnformed hilst the Saltpond police is investiogating the issue.
