Prudential Bank Ltd has donated a double-cabin 4×4 pickup for the first runner up of the Ghana Teacher Prize to be held in Kumasi on October 5,2019.
The bank made the donation on Wednesday,August 21,2019 at the Launch of the event in Accra.
GLICO Pension is also providing a saloon car for the second runner-up, while Databank will also provide a saloon car.
The two companies made their pledge while Prudential Bank presented their vehicle at the event.
Other sponsors are GCB Bank Star Oil Ltd, SIC Life Company Ltd, the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT),
the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT), EPP Bookshop and VIDYA Bookstore.

The Launch
The National Teaching Council has Launched the 2019 edition of the Ghana Teacher Prize (GTP),formerly National Best Teachers’ Awards at the GNAT Hall in Accra.
The prestigious Award which seeks to enhance the efficiency of Ghanaian Teachers and motivate their hard work was launched on Wednesday,August 21,2019.
The event will be preceded by a two-day educational conference aimed at disseminating research findings and exhibitions to expose participants to innovative approaches and best practices that support the teacher to become effective towards higher learner outcome.
The main event shall be held at the Paa Joe Stadium at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, on October 5,2019.
