JUST IN: Over 8000 ‘Teachers’ fail October 2020 Licensure Examination

Over 8,000 candidates who sat for the October 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) have failed.

This is according to a statistic from the examination as published by the National Teaching Council (NTC) on January 4, 2021.

According to the NTC, the results shall be released on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Statistics

According to the NTC, 27,455 candidates sat for the examination with 19,013 candidates representing 69.3% passing the examination.

The NTC further indicated that 8,422 candidates representing 30.7% failed the examination.

 

Withheld Results

The NTC further indicated that the results of some candidates have been withheld awaiting investigation.

Checking of Results

According to the NTC, all candidates can check their results online at the NTC website at www.ntc.gov.gh by using either their PINs given during registration or their examination index numbers using their phone numbers.

 

Printing of Certificate

Candidates are advised to print their provisional certificates from the website.
