NSS NSS Releases Postings for 106,223 Personnel for 2024/2025 Service Year

The National Service Secretariat (NSS) says that it has released a total of 111,613 Pin codes for eligible Ghanaian final year students from all accredited tertiary institutions in the country

The release of the PIN codes is to enable these final year students to enrol to do their mandatory national service for the 2020/2021 service year.

In a release signed by the Executive Director of the Scheme, Mustapha Ussif, the eligible students were advised to visit the Scheme’s website to retrieve the PIN codes with their respective index numbers.

“All prospective national service personnel are hereby requested to visit the Scheme’s website www.nss.gov.gh to access their PIN Codes with their respective Index Numbers and Date of Birth and proceed to any branch of Agricultural Development Bank Ltd. throughout the country too may payment of an amount of GHC 40.00,” a part of the statement reads.

However, following the outbreak of the coronavirus disease in the country, and the need to reduce physical human contact in order to prevent the spread of the virus, the Secretariat has advised opting for paying the amount through mobile money.

“However, the use of MTN Mobile Money is advised to reduce the frequency of human contact in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. For those who resort to PIN Code activation via MTN Mobile Money, payment of an amount of GHC 41.000 is required,” the statement added

Students have been advised to complete their enrollment process on or before Friday, May 31.
