The government will absorb the examination fees of all 313,837 WASSCE 2020 candidates.
President Akuffo Addo has said that Government shall absorb all fees for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE ) Candidates.
President Nana Akufo-Addo made this known on Sunday night during his 12th address to the nation on the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the president, an amount Ghc 75.4 million will be spent on the payment of the fees for the students.

Akuffo Addo Graduates
The president said the graduates will be known as “Akufo-Addo graduates”.
He pointed out the importance of education to the future of Ghana, saying the government is determined to protect the lives of Akufo-Addo graduates and the teaching staff and non-teaching staff.
Isolation Center
The president also indicated some 18,000 Veronica buckets have been distributed to all Schools.
He said each School should have one room as an isolation Center.
