The Ghana Education Service (GES) has rescheduled the reopening date for form 3 Senior High School (SHS) students.
The new date according to the GES is May 5, 2021.
The GES in a response to a request by the Ashanti Regional chapter of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Senior High Schools (CHASS).
THE GES said it has considered the proposal of CHASS Ashanti Region and has revised the academic calendar as per the suggestions made.

The suggestions
The GES said the suggestions by CHASS include the following;
- The reopening for All Form 3 has been rescheduled to 5th May 2021.
The new date applies to all schools (single and double track)
The new date does not affect the proposed instructional hours of 1,080 prior to the WASSCE.
The GES thereby Accepted the suggestions and has allowed the schools to act accordingly.
