JUST IN: COVID-19 Infection hits Ho Police Training College amidst non-closure of school

The Ho Police Training College has been hit with a COVID-19 Infection after one trainee got infected with the virus at the Volta Regional Police Training School in Ho.

Speaking on Alhaji and Alhaji Show on Pan African Television on Saturday, May 23, 2020, Kwesi Pratt Jn, the Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper alleged that the situation has led to greater confusion among the trainees at the Training School.

According to Mr Pratt, there have been rumours that the reason for keeping all Police Training Schools opened against the President’s order to close down all Educational Institutions until further notice amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, was to train more personnel towards election 2020.
