Just In: 5 Students Test Positive For Covid-19 In Togo

5 students in the Republic of Togo have reportedly tested positive for 5 Covid-19 in Lomé, Mango and Cinkasse, 10 days after schools reopened for students in examination classes.

According to a report cited on www.republicoftogo.com, a government-backed website, the situation is under control at the moment and the affected students have been placed at isolation centres thus there is no cause for alarm.

On Monday 15th June, Lomé eased restrictions on final year students in senior and junior high schools so that they can complete their BAC – equivalent to WASSCE and BEPC – equivalent to BECE respectively.
