JUST IN: 3 BECE Candidates involved in an Accident two days to BECE 2019

Three Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates of the Haatso Catholic Basic School in Accra are reported to have been involved in an accident after they went to inspect their examination centre on Friday ahead of their exam on Monday.

According to one of their teachers who was with them who gave his name as Francis, the pupils sustained various degrees of injuries.

The incident happened when we were returning from St Albans at Westlands which is the exam centre. The incident happened after a vehicle overtook a taxi that stopped for the pupils to cross the road,” he said.

He said two are stable and have been discharged.

“Two are stable now and have been discharged but I am still at the Ridge Hospital with one who is still responding to treatment,” he said in an interview with Adomonline.com.
