GNAT to establish a Research Institute in the Ashanti Region

EducationGhana | January 12 | GNAT: The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has approved the establishment of GNAT Institute of Research and Industrial Relations at Abankro near Ejisu in the Ashanti region.

The union in its 6th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference held on the 2nd-7th January 2022 made this decision as part of conference resolutions held at the KNUST Great Hall, Kumasi.

GESOPS Tier 2 Enrolment forms

The conference has also approved all members to fill the Ghana Education Service Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS)  Tier 2 Enrolment forms.

New District Offices

The 2022 Conference also approved Ten (10) new District GNAT secretariats to be created.

These include Sekyere Afram Plains, Afigya Kwabre, Dormaa East, Gomoa East, Assin South, Kwahu East, Upper Manya, Ablekuma, Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo and Wasa Amenfi East.
