Ghana’s only Senior High School at the Ghana-ogo International Board, St Pauls Senior High and Minor Seminary (SPACO) has qualified for the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz Championship.

St. Paul’s Senior High and Minor Seminary (SPACO) in Denu, Volta Region has qualified for the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ). The school qualified after topping the Volta-Oti Zone preliminary rounds on Saturday, June 25, 2023.

SPACO scored a total of 41 points, ahead of Three-Town SHS (26 points), Peki SHS (26 points), and Akome SHTS (12 points). This is the second time SPACO has qualified for the NSMQ in the last three years. They last qualified in 2022 but did not make it past the Preliminary stages.

About St. Paul’s Senior High and Minor Seminary (SPACO)

St. Paul’s Senior High and Minor Seminary (SPACO) is a Catholic boys’ senior high school located at Hatsukope-Denu in the Ketu South Municipal District of the Volta Region of Ghana. It was founded in 1958 by Bishop Konings, the then Bishop of the Keta-Ho Diocese. The school has a minor seminary attached to it, which trains young men for the priesthood.
