Ghanaian tech company launches University Search Engine

Effect Studios, a subsidiary company of the Trunnion Group has launched – Entervarsity – a search engine that provides information on Ghanaian Universities and Courses as well as bespoke advice for anyone looking to progress in higher education.

The search engine which is currently live at www.entervarsity.com hopes to reduce the hustle many Ghanaians and foreigners face in accessing information needed to make well-informed decisions on tertiary education.

“Unfortunately, there is no single place online where students can find information on university courses, fees charged, entry requirements among others,” a statement issued by Stanley Anani, a communication strategist of the Trunnion Group said.

“With more than 500,000 university applications made every year, part of our primary role is to guide prospective students, parents, and advisors along the right route, giving them the support they need to make an informed decision about their future”.

The statement said usage of the search engine is free and the platform has knowledgeable consultants who are ready to guide parents and students in programme selection and school placement which will ensure that they thrive.

“Most parents and students, when questioned, name the lack of basic up-to-date data on universities’ websites on fees, student population, international students, and scholarships, as some of the headaches with choosing and applying for a university. That is why today, Entervarsity is joining universities in Ghana to align information on institutions and programmes online,” the statement read.
