The Ghana Ministry of Health reduces application form fees for health training institutions from GHS 200 to GHS 150. Sales begin April 22 and end June 19, 2025.

The Ministry of Health has announced a 25% reduction in the cost of application forms for admission into health training institutions nationwide. Effective for the 2025/2026 academic year, the fee has been lowered from GHS 200 to GHS 150 to improve accessibility and affordability for prospective students.

In a press release signed by Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh (MP), Minister for Health, the sale of application forms will officially open on April 22, 2025, and close on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Detailed instructions and timelines will be published soon on the ministry’s website and official channels.

“This reduction is intended to enhance access and affordability for applicants across the country,” Minister Akandoh stated.

Prospective applicants are reminded that only GCB Bank Plc and the Agriculture Development Bank are authorised to sell the discounted forms. The move is part of the government’s broader strategy to expand enrollment in health training programs and address workforce shortages in the health sector.

For further information, applicants should monitor announcements from the Ministry of Health and visit their nearest authorised bank branch.
