EducationGhana|August 13| GES to generate Remaining Staff IDs of about 3000 Newly Recruited Teachers in August
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has admitted they are aware of newly recruited teachers who did not get their staff IDs as the 3rd batch of staff IDs were released.
According to the Press & Information Secretary (PIS) for the Coalition of Newly Recruited Teachers (CNRT), Joshua Owusu Yeboah, who spoke with the Public Relations Officer of the MoE, Kwasi Kwarteng, it was revealed that “out of the total number of 16,850 newly recruited teachers, 13,688 staff IDs have been generated so far, as at 8th August 2022”.
Mr. Kwarteng through the PIS further revealed that “the GES will complete the generation of the remaining staff IDs as well as the completion of the biometric process within this Month, [August] where payment will start in September”.
The group through its PIS assured that ‘those who have not received their staff IDs should exercise patience and expect their IDs within this month as promised [by the GES].
We shall also continue to do a follow-up to see to it that we all get their staff IDs, they added.
