The Ghana Education Service (GES) council has met with Management to review the Service’s activities in 2020 and to deliberate on strategies to attain higher heights in 2021.
The 2 -day meeting which began on Wednesday 25th November 2020 at Royal Lee’s hotel – Tutu Akuapem, in the Eastern Region ended on the 26th November 2020.
Speaking at the meeting, the Minister of Education, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh shared his thoughts with the team.

He expressed appreciation to Council and Management for the work done so far.
He added that there was more to be done to improve on the activities of the service and learning outcomes.
He urged all to be committed in pursuing the mandate of providing quality education to the Ghanaian child.
The Chief Director, Mr Benjamin Gyasi and some Ministry officials were present as well.
The DG, DDGs, Divisional, Regional Directors and Unit Heads took turns to present on their activities, achievements and challenges.
