EducationGhana, August 13, SHS: The Ghana Education Service (GES) has begun digital lessons for all Core Subjects at the Senior High Schools across the county.
The GES in a letter dated August 5, 2021, and signed by its Director-General, Prof. Opoku Amankwa to all Regional Directors of Education indicated, that in fulfilment of the Government of Ghana’s agenda of driving the Country’s economic development through digital lessons due t the COVID-19,
and in line with the various intervention programmes to support and prepare students towards the WASSCE, the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ghana Education Service (GES) have developed 140 lessons in all the core subjects for use in Second Cycle Schools.
The details are as follows:
SUBJECTS
Integrated Science
Core Mathematics
English Language
Social Studies
”These are digital lessons that have been uploaded on hard drives for both teachers. and students.” The letter has said.
According to the GES, Teachers should therefore study and be conversant with the contents to be able to teach effectively and explain to students during the digital lessons.

Regional Directors of Education are kindly requested to inform all Heads of Second Cycle Schools to ensure that:
> Each Subject Teacher downloads their area of specialty:
> Digital lesson timetable is designed for all final year students:
> Schools strictly follow the Digital Learning Timetable;
> The Hard Drives are handled with care to avoid crushing:
