The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat is pleased to announce a fully funded scholarship opportunity for eligible Ghanaian students to pursue Master’s and PhD programmes at the International Centre of Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) in Japan.

This prestigious scholarship is open to high-achieving candidates seeking to advance their education in the fields of Environmental Engineering, Health Sciences, and related disciplines.

🎯 Priority Fields of Study:

Civil & Environmental Engineering
Health Sciences
Physics
Biological Science
Applied Chemistry for the Environment
Tourism Science
Physical Therapy

💼 Scholarship Package:

Successful applicants will receive:

Full tuition coverage
Student admission fee waiver
Round-trip international airfare
Monthly stipend of 150,000 JPY (≈ USD 975)

To qualify for this scholarship:

Applicants must meet the entry requirements for TMU graduate programmes
Must hold an undergraduate degree for the Master’s programme application
PhD applicants must possess a Master’s degree
