Some pupils of the Holy Spirit Preparatory School, a private Junior High School in the Volta Regional capital, Ho, have been rushed to the hospital over a case of suspected food poisoning.

According to reports gathered by globalfmonline.com, the pupils, 16 in all, were rushed to the Ho Municipal Hospital a little while after they had been fed with food served under the 1 hot meal per day program today.

At the time of filing this report, some of the more severely-hit pupils had been admitted at the emergency unit while others were also receiving medical attention. The pupils, from all indications, are in stable condition and appear to be responding to treatment
