Ghana’s Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said that Teachers are being paid Professional Teachers’ Allowances’ First Time in the History of Teacher Profession in the Country.
”For the first time in history, teachers are being paid a Professional Teachers’ allowance” He said.
The Vice President made this revelation in his presentation during the Launch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Manifesto for the 2020 Elections at the University of Cape Coast held on Saturday, August 22, 2020.

The Vice President, who was seeking a re-election of the NPP in the December 7 election said the NPP Government has restored Teacher and Nursing Trainees’ Allowances.
He noted that Ghanaians should consider the NPP for another term considering the level of success it chocked in the Education Sector within their First Term in office.
