EducationGhana| November 27| PREMPEH COLLEGE: Prempeh College has been adjudged winners of the 2021 edition of the prestigious National Science and Maths Quiz Competition.
Prempeh College shocked the Kenkey Boys of Legon PRESEC who are 6 times champions of the competition as well as the (Akple and Abobi tadi) representatives from KETASCO popular referred to as the Competition Underdogs and National favourites.
Prempeh College’s win has made them 5 times champions of the competition with just a trophy lost behind the 2020 winners and defending champions PRESEC-Legon.
This article shall bring you some basic facts about their win which can be used for further research decisions in further competitions.
Below are the attributes
- This win marks the 5th time Prempeh College has won the NSMQ competition.
- Prempeh College is the first school in Ghana to win the NSMQ competition. They won the first NSMQ contest in 1996.
- Prempeh College, part of their winning streak, won the NSMQ the first time the NSMQ was moved to Accra.
- Interesting enough, NSMQ 2021 happens to be the first time the NSMQ is being held in Kumasi and they have won it again.

Prempeh College NSMQ 2021 Host and Win
The massively contested competition took place in Kumasi at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST.
Although KNUST SHS couldn’t go by their words in their quest for Host & win, That HOST&WIN agenda has been completed by Prempeh College.
It is also their home since the competition is held in Kumasi.
