Exciting Update: GES Staff Can Now Update Profiles Online via GESMIS

In a forward-thinking move, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has launched the Ghana Education Service Information Management System (GESMIS), allowing its staff to update their profiles online without visiting district offices. This initiative simplifies the process, making it more convenient for staff to maintain accurate records.

How to Use GESMIS:

1. Receive Your Credentials: GES will send a link via SMS to each staff member. The message will contain the username, which is your staff number, and a temporary password.
2. Access the Portal: Tap the link sent by GES to redirect you to the GESMIS portal.
3. Login: Enter your username (staff number) and the temporary password to log in.
4. Update Your Profile: Once logged in, your name will appear. Tap on Update Profile and fill out the required forms.
5. Save and Submit: Review your details, save, and submit the changes.

Important Notes:

• Most details are pre-filled from your payslips and are non-editable.
• Your Ghana Card number is mandatory for validation purposes.

Changing Your Password:

1. Go to Account Settings: At the top right corner, tap on your name and select My Account.
2. Change Password: Tap on Password, create your new password, and save.
3. Log Out: Log out and log back in with your new password.

This initiative marks a significant improvement in how GES staff manage their professional information, ensuring easier access and improved data accuracy across the board.
