Eduwatch Welcomes New Education Minister: A Focus on Policy and Collaboration

On January 23, 2025, a group of three Eduwatch officials paid a courtesy call on the new Minister for Education , Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, to formally welcome him to his new role. The meeting served as a platform to discuss key education-related issues and reaffirm Eduwatch’s commitment to supporting the Ministry in achieving impactful reforms.

Key Issues Discussed

Manifesto-Policy Transition: The discussion centered on strategies for effectively aligning the new administration’s manifesto promises with actionable policies to ensure seamless implementation.
Collaborative Policy Success: Eduwatch reiterated its readiness to partner with the Ministry to ensure that critical education initiatives achieve their intended outcomes.
