EducationGhana| August 25|Documents needed for an Application for Responsibility Allowance as a Teacher
A Responsibility allowance is given to teachers who are given extra responsibilities.
The allowance according to the GES, is paid to only senior professional staff who are assigned to handle specific additional responsibilities.
The documents needed for Responsibility Allowance as a Teacher must be added to the application letter before submitting the letter.
They include Three Copies Each of;
- Application Letter
- Appointment Letter
- Promotion/Upgrading Letter
- Academic /Professional Certificate
- Current Payslip
Category of Teachers to be given Responsibility Allowances
The categories of staff who qualify for the allowance are:
SPECIFIC ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY,,……. SCHOOL LEVEL
- School Headship……………………………………………..Basic and junior high School
- Headmaster/Headmistress ………………………………Senior High School
- Assistant Headmaster/Headmistress…………………….Senior High School
- Senior Housemaster/Mistress…..Senior High School
- Chaplain & Imams……………………………………………Senior High School
- Form Master/Mistress……………………………………….Senior High School
- Guidance & Counseling Coordinators……………………….Senior High School
- Heads of Department (Program Head)……………………..Senior High School
- HouseMaster Mistress…………………………………………Senior High School
- Unit Heads (Front liners Headquarters. Regional Office. District Education Office……Office Staff
