DESAG- UCC donates GH¢33,000 to support level 100 student suffering from brain tumour

The Distance Education Students Association of Ghana of the University of Cape Coast (DESAG-UCC) has donated an amount of GH¢33,000  (Cheque) and an undisclosed amount in cash to support Daniel Adu, a level 100 students suffering from a brain tumour.

This gesture is in line with the deed establishing welfare support for the students of the College of Distance Education of the University of Cape Coast.

 

Daniel has been working as a teacher and student of the College oif Distance Education of the University of Cape Coast (CoDE).

The national president of DESAG-UCC Nana Dwumaexpressed his gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor of the University Of Cape Coast – Prof Johnson Nyarko Boampong, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor – Prof Dora Francisca Edu-Boabdoh, Provost of College of Distance Education-UCC – Prof Isaac Galyuon, our patron, Dr Samuel Ampofoh and the entire student body (Greater Accra regional executives and students)for their efforts and contributions.

”God richly bless you all. It’s our prayer that Daniel will go through the surgery successfully and join us on campus to continue his education.” He said.
