Confusion hits Begoro East as Circuit Supervisor stops Teachers from Printing Lesson Plans

Ferdinand|EducationGhana| October 2| Confusion hits Begoro East as Circuit Supervisor stops Teachers from Printing Lesson Plans

The Circuit Supervisor (now School Improvement Support Officer) of Begoro East Circuit of the Fanteakwa North District has instructed all teachers in her circuit to prepare lesson plans in books.

This comes against the GES directive on the preparation of Lesson Plans, which stipulates that teachers were free to either write the note, print it or submit a soft copy for the headteachers to inspect.

The SISO is the only SISO in the district that has instructed his teachers to compulsorily write their lesson plans in books without printing out the same document that the teachers have on their laptops.

This directive also went against the directive from the Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei  Adutwum, which directs teachers to use the Teacher Mate (TM) 1 Laptop to prepare their notes optionally.
