EducationGhana| August 6 | Concerned Teachers call on GES to urgently issue Staff IDs to Newly Recruited Teachers:
The Coalition of Concerned Teachers Ghana (CCT-GH) has called on the Ghana Education Service (GES) to expedite action on the provision of staff Identification Numbers for Newly recruited teachers.
The Central Regional Secretary of the Coalition of Concerned Teachers Ghana, Amos Amoako in a statement issued on … indicated that the delays in the provision of the staff Identification Numbers have affected the payment of salaries.

According to the statement, the Coalition of Concerned Teachers said it does not understand why it has taken the GES so long to issue Staff IDs to Newly posted teachers.
The teacher union said the undue delay has affected the payment of salaries to the teachers.
The Union thereby pleaded with the GES and the Ministry of Education to as a matter of urgency expedite action in the generation of Staff IDs to the Newly posted teachers.
