Ayawaso West Wuogon MP donates hand sanitizers, face masks to UG Students

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan has donated face masks and boxes of hand sanitizers to the Mensah Sarbah Hall Junior Common Room.

The items are to be distributed to final year students residing in the hall.

The donation, according to the Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, is part of efforts to help in the fight against the coronavirus.

The items were received by executive members of the Mensah Sarbah Hall JCR.

According to them, they have started distributing the items to residents in the main hall.

They have indicated that distribution to those in the annexes will commence from next week.

The donation from Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan follows the previous ones in which she provided a router to the Annex B reading room of the hall and repaired the air conditioners of Annexes C and D reading rooms.

The member of Parliament has also sponsored the “OKPO League 2020” and initiated the drilling of a borehole which is yet to be mechanized.
