This is termed as the Ghana Basic Education Skills Test(GBEST).” He said
Proposals

Purpose of Integration
”We think that, if student teachers are taken through the courses on the licensure examination thoroughly and are given much time to receive a form of practical training before sitting for the licensure examination, the high failure rate would reduce drastically.” He said.
”Available statistics indicate that for the past three years, 128,493 candidates have sat for the licensure exam and out of this, 88,061 which constitute 69% have passed. Records show that 84 candidates have written the exam five times and 372 candidates have written it four times but are yet to pass.” He said.
