EducatIonGhana| September 18|NAGRAT to begin organizing workshops for members to attain CPD Points

The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has confirmed its registration with the National Teaching Council (NTC) as Service providers eligible to conduct workshops and seminars for their members for the acquisition of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points.

This was discussed at the NAGRAT National Council Meeting held on September 15, 2022, at NAGRAT Office, Adabraka, Accra.

NAGRAT said it has registered with National Teaching Council (NTC) as a certified Servicprovider and in due course would start organizing training workshops, seminars and other Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes for teachers.

Professional Development allowance

NAGRAT  sid it will in collaborate with other unions to ensure this year’s Professional Development allowance is paid.

Teachers are encouraged to patronize CPD programmes to build their skills as well as their portfolios for license renewal.

Pen Drive and Modem

3Responding to rumours that teacher unions were deducting monies from teachers’ professional development allowances for Pen Drive and Modem, NAGRAT said it has not had any discussion with any other Union to buy Pen Drive and Modem for any teacher.

Teachers are therefore reminded to disregard any information to that effect.
