The Honourable Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum today, 25th August 2022 launched the Maiden Ghana TVET Report.

Following the passage of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act which was given Presidential Assent on 21st August 2020, it became imperative for the Commission to take steps to develop the maiden Ghana TVET report since it was part of the mandate of the Commission.

This is also part of the Governance and Management goal for TVET as captured by the Education Sector Plan (ESP) and the 5-year strategic plan for TVET transformation – which will ensure we have TVET which is accountable and responsive to the sector.

In developing the maiden TVET report, CTVET and BIBB worked together to collect data on a set of indicators, to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the TVET sector.

This is part of Ghana-Germany Collaboration on Skills development following the signing of the “Joint Declaration of Intent in the area of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)” between the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). (29th July 2019).
