2022 GNAT Conference: GNAT increases Cancer Funds to GHȼ5

EducationGhana| January 12| GNAT Cancer Fund: The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has increased cancer fund contribution by its members from GHȼ2.00 to GHȼ5.00 .

The union at its 6th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference held on the 2nd-7th January 2022 made this revelation as part of conference resolutions held at the KNUST Great Hall, Kumasi.

”GNAT Cancer Fund increment to GHȼ5.00 has been approved by the National Delegates Conference” The Union said.

 

SGMC

GNAT is to build accommodation facilities for cancer patients in Accra at the Cancer treatment centre at Sweden Ghana Medical Centre (SGMC).

”The cancer centre treats all types of cancers except Cancer of the blood but patients with this type of cancer will get a refund from the cancer fund for their treatment cost. The benefit of the fund covers one’s life even after retirement” The GNAT said.
