2021 BECE commences Monday, November 15 with 571,894 candidates across 2,158 Centers

The 2021 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) starts on November 15 to 19, 2021 at some 2158 centres across the country.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) in a statement issued by its head of public relations, Cassandra Twum Ampofo on November 10, 2021, congratulated the candidates, teachers, parents, directors and all stakeholders for their immense contributions towards the preparation of the candidates for this year’s BECE.

Exam Malpractice

The GES cautioned candidates, invigilators, supervisors, school authorities, parents and teachers to desist from any form of examination malpractice.

The GES indicated, that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), The GES, and security services are working jointly to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination all centres across the country.

COFVID-19 PROTOCOLS

The GES further emphasized that the invigilators and supervisors should ensure strict adherence to the COVID-19 Protocols at all centres.
